Pro Dance 2007
posted: Monday, August 21, 2006 at 12:11 PM

I just got back from an amazing trip to Laquinta, CA. for the '07 ProDance
Convention. It was quite the experience meeting other NBA, NFL and other
professional dance teams. The Sixers girls were by far my favorite to hang
with; all phenomenal dancers and totally real...very much like my team.
Melissa and I rocked at our routines and somehow stood out. I believe that
it was somewhat a result of Portland having a unique style.

We trained with Shane Sparks (from "So You Think You Can Dance"), Kim Baum,
John Peters, Chio, Tabitha & Napolean, Mina & Marina, and others- the best
choreographers around!

Despite the long hours of dancing and hard work, we found the trip to be
very relaxing. We were spoiled by the luxurious stay at one of Melissa's
mansions, however we were always so busy that the sparkling pool remained
untouched.

Out of 72 pro dance teams and over 400 girls there, Melissa was awarded with
a dance scholarship to a school in New York and I was chosen among 11 other
dancers to be feautured in the new ProDance calendar! We were humbled and honored with the awards.
